If you are new to Kawaii Art Tribe, you can sign up for your Free Online Art Class for Beginners of All Ages! I will take you through all the secrets of one stroke painting that every artist needs to know. Plus you’ll also receive a surprise gift at the end of the class to help you along your art journey.
In the meantime, you can learn how to draw this cute drawing of Queen Elsa using paper, pencils or markers for a start!
Load your large flat brush with this light and dark blue gradient.
Again using the one stroke painting technique, lay down the lighter colour at the top of her dress.
Flip your brush and use the darker colour at the top of her shoulder.
Create an additional section on each side of her dress as her sleeves.
Now for her face & hands, let’s use our medium round brush to pick up beige paint.
Fill in Elsa’s face and hands with beige paint. You’ll probably need to paint 2 to 3 coats to get it really even.
Because I want Elsa to look like she’s hold a snowflake, I’m using a damp small round brush to carve out an open palm.
This pink & orange colour here reminded me of the autumn leaves in the Frozen 2 movie poster.
Let’s use this for her background.
Use your large flat brush to apply this swirl of colour behind Elsa.
You can start to see how the one stroke painting technique makes it so easy even
for beginners to paint impressive gradients in a single stroke.
